Colombia – From Obscurity to the Jewel of the Americas
Coffee has been present in Colombia since 1790, gradually spreading as a commercial crop to many regions of the country. However, there were still many technical limitations. It wasn’t until 1927 that the FNC (Federation of Colombian Coffee) was established, propelling Colombia to the third position in the world in coffee production, alongside Brazil and Vietnam. This marked a new chapter for the coffee industry in Colombia.
Coffee Plant Colombia Medellin Supremo:
Medellin is the second-largest city in Colombia. The coffee plants here are grown in an ideal geographical location along with a favorable equatorial climate. This contributes to abundant rainfall, ensuring the plants have enough water for optimal growth. The result is a rich and diverse coffee flavor.
