Description
Kenya Gatomboy AA
What is Kenya AA coffee? What makes it special?
Kenya coffee is classified by size on a grading scale. Coffee beans that sit on the largest sieve (17/18, corresponding to a diameter of 7.2 mm) and have no defects are graded as AA. Kenya AA beans are dense and heavy, often grown at elevations above 2000 meters above sea level. This creates a unique wine-like acidity that is incredibly rich. This is why Kenya AA ranks among the top three “big players” in the high-quality coffee industry. Thus, AA beans can be considered the highest quality coffee beans in Kenya.
